ITIAH Angels for Learning (IAFL) is ending June in fashion… Caribbean fashion! Join us on Friday June 25 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for a fun and colorful VIRTUAL fashion show to honor Caribbean culture, community and empowerment! The theme is “A Flair of the Caribbean” with a focus on the beautiful colors of the Haitian flag: red, blue, and gold.
Geneva Smith, owner of Geneva’s Boutique in Neptune, NJ, will serve as mistress of ceremonies. Clothes from Rose Boutique LLC in Lawrenceville, NJ, which offers unique jewelry and accessories from around the world, will be among the outfits featured.
“The evening will be one of learning about Haiti’s rich, beautiful culture through models many of whom are of Haitian descent,” says IAFL’s education specialist Magnolia Brown, who spearheaded the show. “IAFL is so excited to engage everyone in this one-of-a-kind experience.”
As another special treat, noted Haitian singer, poet and actress, Jocelyne Dorisme, will perform songs of hope, liberty and freedom from her homeland.
The ticket price is $25 per person with all proceeds benefitting the children of our École Mère Louise (EML) school in Haiti. Our goal is to transform lives. Early registrants will win raffle prizes. The following are the grand prizes: three-night accommodations at a four-star hotel in Las Vegas; beauty products from Burt’s Bees, beauty products from NaturAll and products from SherChic Boutique.
Be one of the first to register. Sign up now with the link below not only to attend, but to also connect with IAFL’s mission of empowerment for women and children!
