Hi friends,

It is officially May and with it comes the enjoyment of spring weather. But it is also a time to refresh and renew with spring cleaning and helping others. That is the theme for this month’s newsletter, as it is still important to help when and where we can. Haiti is a country that is currently in complete chaos. The students need our help to keep them in their safe and secure school environment. The overarching goal of our mission is to improve their quality of life. With the support of benevolent donors and sponsors like yourselves, the volunteers at Itiah Angels for Learning (IAFL) work continuously to provide assistance to these little girls. Via this monthly newsletter, we strive to keep you informed about the impact we are making together. We prayerfully ask that you continue to help us so we can help them.

Read on to find out more about our activities as we discuss topics such as heroes of Haiti, the exploration of Haitian cuisine, the work we do with the Mere Louise School, and IAFL’s upcoming Spring and Summer events. These articles shine a light on the country of Haiti, the resilience of its people, and how we are helping these young students so they can in turn help their own community.

We hope you have a lovely spring season. Please continue reading to see how you can aid us in the work that we do to transform lives. Together, we are making a difference in that small, impoverished island nation.

Sincerely,

Marie Thadal
