Throughout the past year, your generous donation has helped the children at École Mère Louise (EML)
elementary school gain access to improved health care, education, and community empowerment. We
would like to express our sincere gratitude by explaining the impact that have been made possible by
you.
Health
- Medical exam performed on 30 EML students(Unfortunately, other exams had to be postponed
due to insecurities in the country) - Shipped $2000 value medical kits from Project CURE to the Ecole Mere Louise clinic
- Shipped $4000 value medical kits from Project CURE to HANA (Haitian American Nurses
Association) after the 2021 earthquake - Provided Water Purifier system $3,000.00 (25 gallons of pure water every hour, drinking water
for 1000 people per day) https://airmobile.org/water-purification - Shipped 30 Sawyer filters with 30 buckets & lids for the students to take home to reduce
waterborne illnesses - Planning to send the next shipments of 30 at a time until all 100 students have a filter to take
home - Non-perishable food drive successfully completed. Food collected to be shipped when Haiti
customs office is functioning again - Shipped Hygiene supplies, Hand Sanitizers, and masks
Education
- $20,000 annual tuition paid for 100 students ages 6 to 16. There are no public schools for that
age group. - Shipped 30 backpacks with school supplies for 20-21 school year/ Shipped additional school
supplies for 21-22 school year - Active to identify gaps in EML educational system
- Applied for grants to sustain EML curriculum, build new classes, send Vibes smartboards,
provide professional development - Granted a piano leaning software with instructors to begin a Music program with Piano Marvel.
6 Keyboards to be shipped - Planning a Technology drive to update schools’ old computers and Tablets
- Planning a Language program so students can learn French and English
Empowerment
- Community enrichment Beauty Projects and Youth Robotics projects held in Haiti and Panama
- Successful Kenya Borehole project executed. Provided water for the town of Kisii village
- Youth Robotics Project switched to virtual to be held 22-23 school year
