Itiah Angels for Learning wishes to congratulate our first Gala Scholarship Candidates! The Gala of Angels will take place on July 29 at the Crowne Plaza in Princeton, New Jersey. We are excited to give our celebrated student volunteers this opportunity. Just one of the many things to look forward to at our 5th year anniversary Gala of Angels! These High School and University students have contributed their skills, time, and talents to ensure a better life for students in Haiti. These student volunteers have never met the young girls in Haiti and may never will. But they rolled up their sleeves for the sake of ensuring a better future for them. “These are selfless acts that did not go unnoticed by us,” said Ms. Magnolia Brown-McGlothen, Executive Secretary and Education Director at Itiah Angels for Learning. “I applaud their nominations.”
The Dr. Barry Certner National Legacy Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to volunteerism and community service. His legacy will continue to shine bright through the students who will receive a scholarship award for their contribution to the growth of Itiah Angels for Learning!
