As we reflect on our journey, we are reminded of why our mission matters now more than ever. Recently, the school located at our facility in Port-au-Prince (PAP) faced unimaginable challenges. Amid ongoing unrest, a group of locals took over the premises for their safety as gangs continued to terrorize parts of the city. Yet, even in crisis, hope found a way and you made it possible.
Thanks to your support, ITIAH Angels for Learning (IAFL) provided $20,000 USD to help the school administrator relocate the students to a safer, more stable facility. Today, these children are not only able to continue their studies, but they are also receiving daily hot meals, clean drinking water, and time to play. All essential components that nurture both body and mind.
This achievement represents more than a relocation. It is the very heart of our shared mission to give children in Haiti the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream despite adversity. Without your generosity, these students would have had no place to go, no access to education, and no sanctuary of safety and care. In a time when so much is uncertain, our role has become more vital than ever. We stand with these children and their communities, ensuring that life-changing support continues to reach them when they need it most.
