I’m Sree, a student from Rutgers who attended the all day Red Shoe Movement Event on October 25th, 2024 on behalf of Itiah Angel for Learning organization. I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you for the gracious sponsorship I received so that a fellow student and I could attend this amazing event.
It was an absolutely amazing event and the passion to empower us women shone through every moment. I left the event with my heart overflowing with joy, numerous pieces of invaluable advice, and a network of connections with some of the most inspiring women. Most importantly, this event was a true testament to the power of community and passion.
The energy was infectious and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have been able to experience it. I would absolutely love to stay in touch and support the organization in any way that I can and would also love to be a part of the Step Up program.

The volunteers at Itiah Angels for Learning wish to express their gratitude to Carolle and Martin Appelson for introducing us to Mariela Dabbah, CEO of The Red Shoe Movement.
“It warms my heart to see such wonderful enrichment and connections,” said Martin Appelson”. “Carolle and I were delighted to help”.
