As we begin the new year, ITIAH Angels for Learning is proud to reflect on the meaningful impact already made possible through the generosity and commitment of our supporters, partners, and volunteers. In just the first weeks of January, we have received three financial donations, one computer monitor, and successfully hosted one community activity, with three additional activities scheduled in celebration of Black History Month and Valentine’s Day.

Our supporters’ generosity continues to open doors for young girls who dream of learning, growing, and leading within their communities. Through this support, students are gaining access to education that would otherwise be out of reach. Together, we are building confidence, resilience, and hope for a brighter tomorrow. Every book opened, every lesson learned, and every goal imagined is made possible by a community that truly believes in the power of education to transform lives.

We are deeply grateful to those who rushed to be among the first to donate in 2026. Your early support set the tone for what promises to be a year of impact and progress.

Community Partnerships That Matter

We extend our sincere thanks to Robbinsville High School and Lawrence High School for inviting ITIAH Angels for Learning to participate. free of charge. in their Black History Month festival celebrations. These opportunities allow us to raise awareness, celebrate culture, and reinforce the importance of education and service within our local community.

Another highlight is our upcoming Book Drive, in partnership with BooksforaFriend, who will be donating books from their book drive for our students in Haiti. Everyone is invited to join us as we celebrate the generosity of our local community that made this initiative possible. A heartfelt thank you to Sharon Elementary School and all who contributed to this effort.

From the bottom of our hearts, ITIAH Angels for Learning volunteers express sincere gratitude to Books for a Friend for their continued support and generosity.

Celebrating Love Through Service

On Valentine’s Day, we invite everyone to join us at P23 & Boba Tea to celebrate the true meaning of love, community, generosity, and service. Guests will enjoy a 10% discount on every purchase, generously offered by the owner in support of our mission. Come experience great boba tea while supporting a great cause. As seen on the website, P23 Tea & Boba is a tea house located in Concord Square at 1905 NJ Route 33 West, Hamilton NJ 08690. It is known  for its wide selection of teas, milk teas, and boba, along with locally sourced desserts in a cozy atmosphere. Its name is inspired by Psalms 23, and the owner, Dandra Henriques, aims to create a welcoming space for community, events like private tea parties, and even a coworking area. They offer dine-in, takeout, and curbside pickup, with options for dairy-free and vegan drinks.

Standing Together for Students in Haiti

We also extend our appreciation to MaryAnge Ariste, the founder of Spread the Purple for establishing a GoFundMe campaign in support of students in Haiti. Her commitment helps ensure that our students continue to have a place they can call a school home. Given the ongoing challenges facing Haiti, we recognize that students are experiencing these hardships tenfold. Our mission is well aligned and that’s to keep girls in school and to keep school doors open.

In addition, we are grateful for the  Rutgers University students who have been onboarded as student volunteers. Their willingness to contribute their skills and talents in support of marginalized students across borders is inspiring. Their efforts are deeply admired, and we hope they continue to be changemakers throughout their lives.

Looking Ahead

Even more exciting is the important work our volunteers are doing to deliver on our annual objective: keeping girls in school and ensuring schools remain open. Momentum is also building around our signature annual fundraising event. The 2026 ITIAH Angels for Learning Gala is already in planning and is scheduled for August 8, 2026, at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Ballroom. With a Roaring 20’s / Great Gatsby theme, we are going all out to make this a night to remember. Be the first to buy your tickets when registration opens!

Thank you to every donor, partner, volunteer, and supporter who continues to believe in our mission. Your generosity is changing lives one student, one book, and one opportunity at a time. See our work by subscribing to our monthly newsletter at http://www.itiahnagels.org
