Looking ahead to 2026, our commitment to the students remains steadfast. We believe Port-au-Prince will once again reopen its gates to freedom so that the government, businesses, schools, and families can operate safely. As we work toward that day, our focus will remain on:
- Providing essential educational tools and the annual USD 20,000 tuition funds
- Ensuring safe, stable learning environments
- Empowering administrators and educators through mentorship, consistency, and hope
We are excited for what 2026 will bring. Our gala committee is already preparing for the next annual fundraising gala scheduled for July 2026. The theme will be announced next month so you can begin to search for your accessories.
We also look forward to sharing the upcoming chapter of our journey with you beginning with our New Year’s Day/Haiti Independence Day celebration in Robbinsville on January 1st. Keep an eye out for the Facebook Event and join us as we honor this important cultural moment in the history of freedom and dignity for all. This gathering will also highlight two remarkable milestones within our first-generation achievers.
We are proud to celebrate Jolia Thadal’s graduation from The London School of Economics, where she earned a Master’s degree in Social Impact and Innovation. In addition, we will commemorate the launch of Natalie M. Léger’s new book, Haiti and the Revolution Unseen: The Persistence of the Decolonial Imagination. Natalie M. Léger, PhD, a respected professor at Temple University will host a special book-signing during the event. And of course, Soup Joumou will be served in abundance! We invite you to bring a dish or treat from your own culture to share as we celebrate community, heritage, and achievement together.
