ITIAH Angels Initiatives

Beauty Projects

The Cosmetic Industry is incorporating more corporate social responsibility into their business model. ITIAH Angels Beauty Projects (IABP) were conceived to help build a bridge between the industry and underserved markets. Historically, these markets have had little to no access to many beauty products that are widely available to other markets. The participants of IABP step out of their comfort zone to engage with women in new communities to create awareness while fully immersing these markets in new cultural experiences.

Since the initial pilot trip to Haiti, IABP has experienced an enormous explosion of growth and interest as individuals and corporations are driving exploration into new countries. Generous participants, donors, and corporate sponsors have realized that by making even small investments into these extended communities, an untapped potential can be unleashed. Contributors to IABP are ambassadors for change and  their generosity will uplift women so they can become a powerful force in their community – and to the world at large.

Sponsorship in Haiti provided support to Project House of Hope, a non-profit organization committed to furthering education, community development, and women’s empowerment to empower and equip families.

Sponsorship in Panama provided support to Centro de la Mujer Panameña CEMP (Center for Panamanian Women), a non-profit organization with objective to empower women through training, organization, citizen participation and economic self-management.

Cosmetic Science Workshops

By providing Cosmetic Science Workshops and hands on laboratory activities, women become exposed to new ideas that can generate greater opportunities in their communities. The Beauty Projects workshops initially started as small seeds of exposure to the cosmetic Industry. It was quickly discovered that women are extremely eager to learn and willing to put on their entrepreneurial hat. They are also highly appreciative to the empathy and support bestowed upon them from angels with giving hearts.

Glamour Session

Beauty is more than skin deep; It is empowerment through personal care and self-expression. Since ancient times, women have been naturally interested in the art of personal beautification forging a powerful connection between the beauty industry and women. It is no coincidence that an overarching goal of the beauty industry is to enable people to feel good, build self-esteem, and transform lives.

Universally, it is well known that women, even at an early age, play a vital role in the development of the family as well as the community. In some countries, it is not uncommon that many young girls are kept from attending school because their services at home are needed more than their education. But to fulfill their role as primary agents of life and living, women must be empowered with real opportunities; real opportunities that can in turn create resources necessary for their children to learn.
