September is a month of new beginnings, and at Itiah Angels for Learning, we celebrate students who are not only pursuing their education but also using their talents to make a difference. Through our volunteer and fellowship opportunities, high school and university students can earn community service hours, develop professional skills, build portfolios, connect with professionals, and gain real-world experience while supporting our mission.
We have seen this impact firsthand. Swapna supported our 2026 Gala and serves on our Finance Committee. Ivana used her videography and design skills to contribute to our Gala Program Book. Nakshatra put her creativity into designing T-shirts and mugs for our volunteers. Sree, now a professional engineer, continues to give back through IT support and volunteering.
These students, many from Robbinsville High School remind us that learning happens beyond the classroom. When young people are trusted with responsibility and given opportunities to use their talents, they gain skills, confidence, relationships, and experiences that can shape their futures.
And the impact goes both ways. Their contributions help strengthen our organization and our ability to support students at the EML elementary school in Haiti. We want every student to leave Itiah Angels for Learning with more than service hours. We want them to leave with skills to showcase, connections to build on, and the confidence to pursue their next opportunity.
