February is a powerful month of reflection and purpose. It invites us to celebrate love in all its forms while honoring Black History Month, a time to recognize resilience, achievement, and the enduring pursuit of equality. At Itiah Angels for Learning, these themes are deeply connected to our mission, reminding us that love is most meaningful when expressed through action, service, and opportunity.
Throughout this month, we are especially grateful for our community partners Robbinsville High School Black Culture Club and Lawrence High School Black Student Union who have opened doors for us to participate in their school festivals and cultural celebrations. These moments allow us to share our story, raise awareness about our work, and inspire young people to see education as a pathway to empowerment and change. We thank each school and organizer who has welcomed us and helped amplify our mission.
February also marks an exciting milestone as we prepare to celebrate the completion of a book drive at P23 in Hamilton, New Jersey. Books are more than pages and print. They are tools for imagination, confidence, and possibility. Through this initiative, we continue our commitment to expanding access to educational resources for the students we support.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to BooksForAFriend.org, an inspiring organization founded by two siblings from Central Jersey, whose passion for making a positive impact is truly commendable. Their belief that every child deserves access to books, regardless of background or circumstance, aligns beautifully with our own values. Thanks to their generosity and dedication, over 200 books have been collected and will eventually make their way to Haiti, where they will help spark curiosity, learning, and hope.
As we honor February, we celebrate love that uplifts, history that grounds us, and education that propels us forward. Thank you to our community, partners, and supporters for standing with us and for helping transform compassion into lasting impact. Together, we are building a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
We warmly invite our community to join us at P23 located on Route 33 in Hamilton, NJ as we celebrate the incredible generosity behind the recent book drive. Itiah Angels for Learning volunteers will be on site to officially accept the donated books and recognize the collective effort that made this initiative a success.
The book drive took place at Sharon Elementary School, and we are deeply grateful to every student, family, and supporter who participated. Your contributions will help expand access to books and learning opportunities for students in Haiti.
As a thank-you to everyone who supported this effort, P23 will be honoring participants with 10% off all boba tea and other purchases during the celebration.
Come celebrate community, generosity, and the power of education with us. Together, we are turning compassion into impact, one book at a time
